01 Overview

Lewisville is the elder statesman of our service area — an older, well-worn DFW suburb that grew up long before the master-planned boom to the north. That history shows in the housing: a real mix of apartments and condos along the I-35E corridor, older single-story ranch homes in Old Town, and lakeside streets off Lake Lewisville. SHWIX Movers handles all of it, and the variety is exactly why we don’t run a one-size plan here the way the new-build suburbs sometimes let us.

Lining up a move in this stretch of North Texas? Frisco, TX movers works these master-planned subdivisions, gated communities, and Tollway-corridor towers most weeks.

Apartments and condos along the corridor

A lot of Lewisville moves run through apartment and condo complexes near I-35E and Vista Ridge Mall. Those come with their own checklist: assigned or limited parking, gate codes, the occasional freight elevator, and sometimes a certificate of insurance for the property. Our office lines up the parking, the gate access, and the COI before move day so the crew is loading instead of standing at the leasing desk. Tyrell’s crew knows the elevator-and-stairs drill cold.

What we handle in Lewisville

  • Apartment and condo moves with gate codes, parking, and COIs arranged up front
  • Old Town’s narrow streets and older ranch homes, scouted and curb-staged
  • Floor and doorway protection for original finishes in older homes
  • Lakeside-street access planning off Lake Lewisville
  • Flat-rate or hourly — your choice, with no padded one-hour minimum

Old Town and the older ranch homes

Old Town Lewisville is a different animal — narrower streets, single-story ranch homes, original floors worth protecting. We scout the parking, bring a truck the street can actually take, and pad the doorways and floors on the way out. The same crew that loads in Old Town is the one that unloads at your next place, whether that’s across town or across the metroplex.

Pick your price, we’ll keep it honest

Some Lewisville customers want hourly — $175 for two movers and a truck, $239 for three — and plenty just want the flat number for the whole job. We do both, and we waive the one-hour minimum so nothing’s padded. SHWIX is a fully licensed Texas (TxDMV) and USDOT/MC moving company with our own trucks and uniformed crews, no broker in the middle. Get my free moving quote for Lewisville.

We move Lewisville

Our crews work Lewisville week in and week out, so the gate codes, the HOA move-in windows, the new-build subdivisions, and the high-rise elevator reservations are second nature long before the truck pulls up. Our quote is one flat rate, written out in full — you will not find surprise charges hiding in the fine print.

02 Why us

The name on the truck and the name on your contract are one and the same

Book SHWIX and the truck pulling up to your slab-built two-story is ours, the contract is ours, and the uniformed crew carrying your sectional down the stairs is on our North Texas payroll — your job never gets sold off. A broker works the other direction: they auction your move to whoever bids lowest that week, then drop out of the picture entirely.

SHWIX Movers
  • We own the trucks, and the full-time, background-checked movers riding in them work for us — we never fill out a crew with day labor pulled off a listing board
  • The number we write down is the number you pay — locked, signed, and accurate to the dollar before anyone lifts a box
  • The same crew the whole way through, from the first item out of the old house to the last one set in the new one
  • Texas (TxDMV) household-goods registration, USDOT/MC authority for interstate runs, and every job backed by full insurance with up to $1,000,000 in cargo coverage
  • One Frisco office and one point of contact, from the first call to the last box carried inside
What a broker does
  • Farms your move out to whichever outfit happens to bid lowest that particular week
  • Lets the price climb on move day, loaded up with fees that nobody mentioned at the start
  • Sends total strangers you have never spoken to into your home, your whole household trusted to people you cannot vouch for
  • Stays fuzzy about whose policy actually pays out when a flat screen ends up on the floor
  • Parks a call center between you and whoever eventually shows up to load, turning a simple question into a runaround

Lewisville & nearby, in their words

★★★★★

“Did a fantastic job moving my partner and I. We moved from one top floor apartment to another 8 miles away and the guys got it done in just one day. They were also kind and helpful, they were able to stay on task even with other movers also in the way (another person was moving out using the same elevator ) I highly recommend them.”

What Lewisville movers ask us

We're moving out of an apartment near I-35E in Lewisville. Do you handle complexes?
Yes, apartment and condo moves are a big part of our Lewisville work. The complexes off I-35E and around Vista Ridge usually have assigned parking, gate codes, and sometimes a freight elevator or a COI requirement. Tell our office the complex name and we'll arrange the parking, the gate access, and the certificate so the crew loads fast instead of waiting at the leasing office.
Can you move an older ranch home in Old Town Lewisville?
Definitely. Old Town has narrower streets and older single-story ranch homes with pier-and-beam quirks and tight curb access. We scout the parking ahead of time, bring the right-size truck for the street, and protect the original floors and doorways on the way out. Same crew loads in Old Town and unloads at your new place.
We have a lot of stuff and want to avoid surprises. Flat rate or hourly?
Your call, but most people want the flat number. Two movers and a truck are $175 an hour and three are $239 if you'd rather go hourly, but we'll just as happily quote the whole move as one flat price so there's zero meter anxiety. A $140 deposit holds the date either way.
