Uprights, baby grands, and full grands each get handled their own way — boarded, skid-plated, and strapped, with the legs and lyre removed and protected on a grand. The challenge here is usually the house: a second-floor bonus room at the top of a switchback stair, a tight turn into a study, no basement to stage from. We measure the path and the doorways before move day so there’s a plan, not an improvisation, when the instrument is on the boards.

Instruments and fine finishes don’t love a Texas summer. We load specialty pieces early, keep them padded and shaded, and never let a piano sit in a closed trailer cooking on the driveway. On a longer move we time the run so your grand isn’t enduring the worst of the afternoon heat in transit.
