A Frisco crew that knows how North Texas actually moves
Frisco runs on movement. Families trade up from a Plano ranch home into a new two-story in Newman Village, transferees land every week for a job at Legacy West, and whole subdivisions in Prosper and Celina go from dirt to drywall in a season. SHWIX Movers was built in 2016 for exactly this churn — a licensed Texas (TxDMV) crew with our own trucks, running one flat number instead of an hourly meter that punishes you for a long Tollway haul.
From Plano to Prosper, North Texas moving crew writes the whole move as one fixed number — what the estimate says is what you pay on move day.
What a local SHWIX move looks like
We are a real moving company, not a matching service or broker. The movers who shrink-wrap your sectional in Frisco are the same movers who set it in your new den in Allen — same crew both ends, no handoff to a stranger. Most of what we move is the North Texas standard: big two-story brick homes on slab with no basement, three-car garages packed past the cars, and gated luxury in Starwood or Stonebriar where the HOA wants a certificate before the gate opens.
Because there’s no basement to stage from, we plan the load around your garage and entry, and we protect every door jamb and stair nose on the way out. New builds get extra care on fresh hardwood and unscuffed paint — builders don’t hand you a punch list to fix our scratches.
Timed for Texas weather
Our summer windows open at dawn so the heavy lifting beats the heat. In spring we keep a radar tab open — hail and straight-line wind move fast through Collin County, and we’d rather stage your boxes inside than have the truck open under a wall cloud. Winter ice is rare but brutal here, so if a freeze is forecast we’ll talk timing with you straight rather than risk a loaded truck on glazed overpasses.
Straightforward pricing
- Two movers and a truck run $175 an hour; add a third mover and it’s $239 an hour, with the usual one-hour minimum waived.
- Prefer certainty? Local flat-rate opens at $449 for a studio or one-bedroom and scales by room count and heavy pieces.
- A $140 deposit locks your date and is credited in full to your final bill.
- Standard released value is $0.60 per pound; full-value protection is available, and we carry cargo coverage up to $1,000,000 per shipment.

How the price gets set
We start with a short walkthrough or video survey, and from your actual inventory we set one flat North Texas rate — no hourly clock buried anywhere inside it. Whatever that quote says is the whole price, with nothing added once the truck is loaded or a storm rolls in off the plains.
