Moving big North Texas houses without the drama
A residential move in Frisco isn’t a few rooms and a U-Haul. It’s a two-story brick home on a slab, a primary closet the size of a small bedroom, a three-car garage doing double duty as a workshop, and an attic full of holiday bins — all of it built in the last fifteen years as the metroplex exploded north. SHWIX Movers has been packing and hauling these houses since 2016, with our own trucks and our own crews, licensed as a Texas (TxDMV) household-goods mover.
From Plano to Prosper, our DFW crew writes the whole move as one fixed number — what the estimate says is what you pay on move day.
No basement changes the whole plan
Movers who learned the trade up north stage a house out of the basement. There are no basements here. That means the garage and the front entry do all the work, and the load has to be sequenced so the garage clears in the right order and the truck packs tight for a slab-level home. We’ve run this hundreds of times across Collin County, so the choreography is second nature.
New construction gets handled like it’s still the builder’s
So much of Frisco, Prosper, and Celina is brand-new — Phillips Creek Ranch, Newman Village, Light Farms in Celina. On a fresh build we put floor runners on the hardwood, pad the banisters, and protect the jambs before we carry anything. Your move-in shouldn’t add scratches to a house you haven’t even lived in yet.
Same faces, start to finish
We are a licensed moving company running our own fleet — not a broker handing your home to whoever’s available. The crew that disassembles your bed and wraps your sectional in your old place is the crew that rebuilds it in the new one. Same crew both ends, every time.

How the price gets set
We start with a short walkthrough or video survey, and from your actual inventory we set one flat North Texas rate — no hourly clock buried anywhere inside it. Whatever that quote says is the whole price, with nothing added once the truck is loaded or a storm rolls in off the plains.
